I was placed on a committee representing the Transit Department to help guide the development of Amarillo's downtown. I created the above map to show the presence that the Transit system had in two different Downtown Districts.
The above map displays all of Amarillo's transit stop locations. Due to the wealth of information I decided to not include a map key, instead placing the information where I thought it would be accessible. This map was created for the transit passengers, showing where every stop in Amarillo is located.
Part of my job as a Transportation Planner was to evaluate all of the existing conditions of the Transit routes. To do this I evaluated every stop in the system to determine what amenities were present, as well as document the ADA compliance. The above map shows the existing conditions of Route 3, along with pictures highlighting problematic areas.

Another of my duties as a Transportation Planner was to research every request that was made to the Transit Department. For each of these requests I went out into the field to determine the feasibility of each request. After collecting the data in the above format, I made my research available and presented my information in a public meeting.
